John Barclay signed the Pedal Club Golden Book at The Pedal Club Lunch in October and has been awarded the British Empire Medal for services to British Road Cycling. Sir Bradley Wiggins signed it at The Rouleur Classic in November.
The club enjoyed the 22 mile ride organised by Graham Temple around Cheddington in July
Membership currently stands at 14 Life members, 50 Full members, 25 Country members and 34 Social members
During the year Frank Rasey and Lou Wilson transferred from Full to Social Membership and Tony Mackertich and Mick Dobson were elected Social Members and Malcolm Freeman and Walter Thornhill were elected Country Members. Spud Murphy and Brian Laughton resigned from the club.
It is with much sadness that we have to report the following deaths of members during the year, viz. Keith Butler, Bill Thorncroft and Stuart Benstead.
The Committee wish all the members the compliments of the season and good wishes for 2020.
